Royally Happy!

I woke up this morning and almost forgot about the Royal Wedding until I saw some posts on facebook about it. ACK! The dress! I needed to see! I iPhoned over to PopSugar to get the deets and I was FLOORED.

Kate was grace and loveliness personified. A TRUE princess. Glorious! In her dress by the house of Alexander McQueen, she was a vision. Understated, elegant, refined, and CLASSIC. For years we will still be talking about how she looked. (I wonder if she'll change into a 'party' dress later?)

Did you know she did her own makeup? I give her props on that too! It was perfectly done and she looked fresh and glowing, yet better then she ever has.

You could just tell that the couple was happy and in love and I know that made millions of people fall in love with them. What a fairytale!

I just wanted to thank you for doing such an amazing job on my makeup for my wedding day. It really stayed all day too, and even at 2am my makeup still looked good, which is no small feat. :) I know the rest of the girls were really happy with it, as well as my mom!

Makeup Inspiration: Pretty in Pinks

A clean natural look is always classic and looks fresh at a beach or daytime wedding! This look is free of shimmer and glitter so keep makeup matte and smooth.

Start off with perfect alabaster skin with the help of mineral foundation or a light application of airbrushed makeup. Coverup any dark circles with MAC Select coverup. It is creamy, not cakey. Also apply coverup on your eyelids to remove any red coloring. Brush a beige white shadow all over your eyes from browbone to lid. Apply a shimmer free pink shadow in the outer corner of the eye and blend well. Apply a thin line of Bobbi Brown Gel eyeliner in a brown shade on the top lid. Use a pencil eyeliner to line 3/4 of the way under the eye. Apply a dark brown waterproof mascara after curling your lashes. The dark brown will look more natural then a stark black.

Apply a pale peachy pink blush free of shimmer on the apples of your cheeks. Try NARS Sexual Appeal! Next apply a shimmer free gloss on your lips. My favorite is MAC Cremesheen lipgloss in Boy Bait. A must have!
