Royal Wedding Polish!
Butter London is introducing a new Princess-to-be nail polish in honor of Kate Middleton! The new polish, a glitter packed greyish blue, will be called, "No More Waity, Katie". Supposedly, Kate's nickname in her pre-engaged state with Prince William was "Waity Katie", hence the polish name.
I think this will be a great polish for royal fans everywhere and I would love to see this used in bridal pedicures! Although I'm not a huge fan of glitter products, especially in makeup, I think a touch of sparkle on your toes is a cute accent to your bridal attire!
Some other Butter London nail shades I love for brides: La Moss, a deep vixen red brown, Dahling, rose pink, and Artful Dodger, a beautiful turquoise blue.

Make this dress in white! Emma Stone
Sometimes I imagine what a gown worn by a celebrity on the red carpet would look like if it were bridal white! I had that longing when I saw the lovely Emma Stone in her pale peach minimalist number by Calvien Klein. It's simple and classic not to mention probably really comdfy and sexy thanks to the cut out back. Imagine this as a pristine white wedding gown! Pair it with nude strappy sandals, a sleek bun, and tiny diamond studs. This is a dress that truly represents a casual and no-fuss bride!
P.S. My photoshopping skills are not the best but I'll get better I promise!
Makeup Inspiration: Classic Smokey Eye
The bride looking for a sultry, sexy, and mysterious look should opt for the classic smokey eye! Charlize Theron shows how to do this perfectly with all emphasis on her eyes and barely there makeup everywhere else.
Start with a nice even skin tone using either mineral foundation or airbrushed foundation. Apply a skin toned blush right below the apples of your cheeks. You are going for a more natural sculpted look instead of pink and cherry. Try NARS blush in Nico or Sex Appeal. The classic smokey eye is a combination of smokey greys and dusty blacks. Try MAC's Carbon eyeshadow. The key to the smokey eye is to BLEND BLEND BLEND! Use soft strokes to fill in your lid starting at the lash line, and stroke upward towards the crease. Since this is a classic smokey eye, do not extend too drastically past the outer corner of your eye. The look is still clean and crisp! Line eyes using a waterproof gel liner like Bobbi Brown's version. Also line the inner rim of your eye. This might be different then what you are used to but trust me, the black rimmed inner rim will make this look complete!
Finish your look with a dusting of finishing powder and a light peach lipstick to complement the natural blush. Keep both the blush and lipstick in the same color family to complete the monochromatic face; the perfect canvas for the smokey eye!

Sweetest sentiment I've seen in a long time....
For all of you Philly girls! My friend recently told me he was going to tour these love letter murals with his girlfriend in Philly this weekend. They are murals done all over the city on rooftops and buildings by artist Steve Powers. The art is essentially words of love from a guy to his girl. Such beautiful sentiments and unique pieces of art. I especially love the thought, "If you were here, I'd be home now". Sweetness....
If I lived in Philly and had to get some engagement photos done, I would without a doubt plan a picture or two near this...just a thought!

Makeup Inspiration: Bronze Blinkers
J'dore the milky complexion and ocean blue peepers of Mrs. Russell Brand. Isn't she lovely? Duplicate her look here for your wedding by evening out your complexion with the use of some matte airbrushing. Use finishing powder to stop shine and set the look. Apply a dollop of peachy pink blush like NARS Orgasm (the BEST!). Use a lighter bronze/gold shade of eyeshadow (try MAC's Amber Lights) all over your eyelid and sweep underneath to bring out your baby blue's. Apply the longest length lashes you can stand with extra coats of MAC's SplashProof mascara! Finish lips with a sweep of pure pink gloss like MAC's Partial to Pink Cremesheen gloss.

Makeup Inspiration: Romantic Redhead
As a makeup artist, it really helps when clients show me photos of makeup looks that they wish to emulate on their wedding day. This helps me correctly see their vision and discuss their different options. However, some girls don't know where to look for that inspiration so I will help by providing possible wedding day makeup looks that you can reference when you see me!
First up, the beautiful Emma Stone! I've been obsessed with going red lately and her makeup look proves that redheads can wear bold lips! This look is a bit retro with the red lips and winged liner. I would start by airbrushing a creamy and even matte foudation for a immaculate complexion. Barely there pink blush like NARS Mata Hari on the apples of the cheeks. Bronze shadow and inner rim liner topped off with liquid black winged liner on top. To top it all off, a clean, gloss free application of orange toned red liner and lipstick. Try Revlon's lipstick in Flame for the same color!

Diamon Debate - Natalie Portman's Ring!
Recently engaged and recently proclaimed 'bun in the oven' actress, Natalie Portman, has been flashing her dainty diamond in recent pictures. The stone is round and surrounded by pave diamonds on a pave encrusted band. The ring looks like a bowl of diamonds but I love it! The dress on the other hand makes Natalie look like a nun trying to glam it up for a girl's night out. What do you think or her ring?
