Hi girls! First of all, let me start off by saying that I am in love with cupcakes. They are the most perfect dessert: individually sized portions of heavenly decadence. My favorite way to eat them is to first pull the bottom of the cupcake apart from the cupcake and place on top of the frosting. That way, you get an equal distribution of frosting to cake. I love cupcakes so much so that I WILL have a plethora of cupcakes at my wedding. I've sampled cupcakes everywhere I go, New York, San Fran, Vegas, DC....but I must say, I am still in love with Vanilla Pastry right here in the 'Burg. Located on Centre Ave next to Paris 66 (my favorite French bistro) and down from Whole Foods, Vanilla Pastry never dissapoints me.
Indulge in their red velvet with creamy cheese frosting, caramel, and coconut. The buttercream frosted ones are the BEST. They always mix things up a bit too with wacky in season flavors like Guinness infused cupcakes on St. Patty's Day! They do custom orders as well as wedding cakes and cookies. Check them out!
